This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no advertising. There is no consent banner because there is nothing non-essential to consent to.
What this site stores on your device
One thing: a browser storage entry called nbk-theme,
which remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is not a
cookie, it is never sent to a server, nobody else can read it, and
clearing your site data removes it. Nothing breaks if you do.
Third-party content that can set cookies
Parts of the site load from other companies, and those companies set their own cookies under their own policies. Where possible this is deferred until you actually ask for it:
- Calendly, the booking widget. It loads with the page so that the booking button works instantly, and it may set cookies of its own.
- YouTube, video thumbnails load with the page
from
i.ytimg.com. The player itself is the privacy-enhancedyoutube-nocookieversion and only loads once you press play. - TikTok and Instagram. These cards are still images until you click them. Nothing is requested from either platform until you do.
- Google Fonts, serves the typefaces. No cookies, but Google receives your IP address.
- Vercel: the host, which may set a cookie for security and load balancing.
- Stripe, only if you go through a payment.
- Substack, nothing loads from Substack on this site. Subscribing to the newsletter takes you to Substack's own page, and its cookies apply there, not here.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking third-party cookies may stop the booking widget or embedded videos working properly, but the rest of the site is unaffected. The free tools on this site run entirely in your browser and need no cookies at all.
If this changes
Adding analytics or advertising would mean adding a proper consent banner first. If that happens, this page changes before it does.
